Job Title: Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator to join our team at One Medical Group. As a key member of our Workforce and Culture function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new and returning employees.

This is a part-time (24 hours per week) fixed-term contract (6 months) with flexibility regarding work days. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from offer to commencement, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed in line with national standards and NHS safer recruitment guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support candidates through their onboarding journey, providing an effective, reliable, and responsive service
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and external partners to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Proactively chase references and pre-employment checks, maintaining regular communication with candidates
  • Issue contracts and new starter forms prior to the start date, and set up new employees on relevant IT systems
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate issues as necessary, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Experience in an administration role, preferably within a Recruitment/HR function
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to work at pace and deliver on numerous deadlines
  • Proven adaptability and flexibility in approach, with a high level of confidentiality
  • Valid driving license and access to a personal car
