The Opportunity

The University of Edinburgh's Centre for Pesticide Suicide Prevention (CPSP) is seeking a visionary leader to drive impactful changes in pesticide regulation and contribute to a £10M research and implementation programme focused on global health.

This is a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that will save lives and protect health globally. As a key member of our team, you will build and nurture relationships with UN Agencies, global civil society organisations, and the private sector to drive change.

Your Skills and Attributes
  • Extensive experience in agriculture policy, sustainable development, and global health.
  • Proven ability to engage with UN bodies and international frameworks related to pesticide regulation.
  • Strong strategic leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate complex policy landscapes.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with high-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing large-scale, multi-country projects with a focus on public health and regulatory initiatives.
