About the Role

As a Paramedic Functional Assessor at Maximus, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess the impact of disabilities and health conditions on daily life. This challenging yet rewarding role involves working with complex cases, including physical and mental health conditions, and chronic pain disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the effects of disabilities and health conditions on daily life
  • Produce detailed reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining eligibility for benefits
  • Develop clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision

Requirements

  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of post-registration experience gained within or outside of an NHS ambulance trust
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
