Administrative Assistant

Blackheath/Halesowen-based MET Recruitment UK LTD is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their Conveyancing team. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary of £24,500 per annum.
Key Benefits:
Full-time role with 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.24 days leave plus Public Holidays.Company pension scheme.As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for communicating with clients to gather and provide information, managing files and case management systems, and assisting fee earners with document production. Your strong attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure high levels of confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities:
Assist fee earners with the production of correspondence and other documents.Communicate with clients via email, letter, telephone, and in person.Open and close files in accordance with the firm's stated procedures.Deal with incoming emails, faxes, phone calls, and correspondence for fee earners.Maintain departmental diaries/calendars to ensure key dates are noted.Evaluate and implement an effective file review system.Manage financial issues such as costing files and credit control measures.Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Code of Conduct in respect of client care, money laundering, complaints handling, etc.Requirements:
5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.High level of proficiency in word processing, Excel spreadsheets, time recording, email, and case management.Knowledge of legal practices and the legal sector, with specific understanding of Conveyancing.Ability to produce correspondence and documents independently and under instruction.Good communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent keyboard, copy typing, and audio typing skills.Problem-solving skills and a positive attitude towards digital ways of working.-
