Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nursing professional to join our management team at Northampton General Hospital. As a Senior Nursing Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Key Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a degree in nursing or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Band 6 nurse
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
