Project Controls Director Opportunity

Infraspec is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Director to join our team and contribute to the success of our prestigious clients in the Transport, Defence, Utilities & Construction sectors.

This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage a team of project controls professionals, driving delivery of client workload while maintaining positive outcomes. You will be responsible for generating fee income through delivery on major existing projects, ensuring the integrity of internal and external programmes, and contributing to the development of internal project controls professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the project controls team to ensure delivery of client workload while maintaining positive outcomes.
  • Generate fee income through delivery on major existing projects.
  • Check the integrity of internal and external programmes (Primavera P6).
  • Contribute towards the development of internal project controls professionals.
  • Work with new and existing clients to develop their project controls teams, systems, processes, and governance.

Requirements:

  • Experience within planning and project controls toolsets such as Earned Value Management, Risk, Change Control, Primavera P6/MS Projects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Programme/PMO and how they integrate within the overall project delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills within a project controls team environment.
  • Stakeholder management and engagement.
  • Solid narrative skills to support bid writing.
  • Experience in infrastructure sectors such as civil engineering, construction, aviation, rail, and utilities.
  • Ideal degree qualification in engineering, or a construction-related subject or similar.

This is a London-based hybrid working position with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week. Salary dependent on experience £80K-£90K plus bonus and generous benefits package.
