About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and upkeep at our rehabilitation centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the on-site domestic team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and upkeep is achieved and maintained.
  • General cleaning of premises, including floors, sinks, toilets, wash hand basins, baths, showers, surfaces, cupboards, etc., using designated equipment and re-stocking materials as required.
  • Carry out periodic cleaning, such as corridor walls, windows, and carpets, using the appropriate machines/tools.
  • Correct usage, storage, and care of cleaning equipment, adhering to COSHH procedures.
  • Ensure a smart appearance by wearing the company uniform provided.
  • Provide high levels of customer care at all times.
  • Complete all statutory and mandatory training, whether face-to-face or via e-learning, deemed relevant to the role.

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
  • Previous experience as a Housekeeper from either a healthcare or domestic cleaning background.
  • Experience working unsupervised and on your own initiative.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
