Deloitte LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Pension Actuary to join our Actuarial, Pensions and Rewards Practice within the Audit and Assurance Line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to trustees and corporate sponsors of pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently test pensions liability calculations and benchmark proposed assumptions for corporate accounts.
  • Investigate and challenge actuarial assumptions and methodologies used by corporate actuarial advisors.
  • Prepare and review audit documentation.
  • Present findings to Deloitte Audit teams, corporate pension managers, financial controllers, finance directors, and/or audit committees.
  • Contribute to wider pensions, reward, HR, and analytics projects.
Requirements:
  • FIA, FFA, AIA, or AFA qualified or making good progress towards an actuarial qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in delivering defined benefit pension work streams or projects in a consulting or in-house environment.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing client relationships.
  • Solid team leadership experience.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel.
