Pension Actuary Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Actuary Manager to join our Actuarial, Pensions and Rewards Practice within the Audit and Assurance Line. As a Pension Actuary Manager, you will be responsible for independently testing pensions liability calculations and benchmarking proposed assumptions for corporate accounts. You will also investigate and challenge the actuarial assumptions and methodologies used by corporate actuarial advisors.
Key Responsibilities
* Independently testing pensions liability calculations and benchmarking proposed assumptions for corporate accounts
* Investigating and challenging the actuarial assumptions and methodologies used by corporate actuarial advisors
* Preparing and reviewing audit documentation
* Presenting findings to Deloitte Audit teams, corporate pension managers, financial controllers, finance directors, and/or audit committees
About You
To qualify, you will have FIA, FFA, AIA, or AFA qualifications or be making good progress towards an actuarial qualification or equivalent. You will also have experience of delivering defined benefit pension work streams or projects in a consulting or in-house environment. Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential, as well as experience of managing client relationships and solid team leadership experience. Advanced level of Microsoft Excel is required.
