About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team at the Rosewood Mother and Baby Unit (MBU) within KMPT. This part-time position offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of mothers experiencing acute perinatal mental health challenges.

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide essential social work support to mothers and their babies. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Delivering high-quality social work services tailored to individual needs
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conducting assessments, developing support plans, and providing therapeutic interventions
  • Championing safeguarding practices within the MBU
  • Promoting recovery, social inclusion, and social justice for mothers and their families

Key Requirements

  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Completion of the ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment)
  • Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business purposes (unless exempt under the Equality Act 2010)
