About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dietetic Lifestyle Support Specialist. As a key member of our Community Dietetic Team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients in making healthy lifestyle changes and improving their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dietetic support and administrative assistance to the Community Dietetic Team
  • Carry out organisational or administrative tasks as designated by the registered dietitian or administrative lead
  • Audit, stock checks of resources & products essential for the smooth delivery of community dietetic services
  • Carry out routine administrative tasks to support the community based dietetic team
  • Plans and organises straightforward activities
  • Review the dietetic care plans for designated patients as part of their community dietetic care pathway, supporting the patient to optimise their nutritional intake

Essential

  • English or maths GCSE or equivalent

Desirable

  • ECDL or equivalent IT qualification
  • Nutrition qualification

Experience

Essential

  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Experience working in Community focused / NHS / Healthcare setting
  • Experience of using Microsoft windows, word, powerpoint and outlook packages
