About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Dietetic Lifestyle Support Worker to join our Community Dietetic Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide brief intervention support to patients within GP settings, using Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills to facilitate positive lifestyle change and signpost relevant local services to reduce the risk of diabetes development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dietetic support and administrative assistance to the Community Dietetic Team
  • Carry out organizational or administrative tasks as designated by the registered dietitian or administrative lead, including audit and stock checks of resources and products
  • Review dietetic care plans for designated patients, supporting them to optimize their nutritional intake
  • Plan and organize straightforward activities
Requirements
  • English or maths GCSE or equivalent
  • Experience working as part of a team, in a Community focused/NHS/Healthcare setting
  • Experience of using Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook packages
