Job Description

Our client, a reputable manufacturer based in Mallusk, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, MRP/ERP systems, and quality management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of production-related projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, and providing guidance and support to junior engineers.

About the Role

  • Lead the development and implementation of production-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • A 3rd level qualification in a manufacturing subject (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing processes and MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, 123 Insight, Sage).
  • Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems (9001, 14001) and Continual Improvement methods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and guide teams.

Salary
