As a Manufacturing Engineer for Assembly Operations at Hays Engineering, you will play a crucial part in driving efficiency and quality across our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure seamless collaboration between design engineers, production teams, and quality control to optimize assembly line processes, resolve issues, and implement cost-effective solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to guarantee efficient production, high-quality output, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize assembly line processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
- Design and implement assembly line layouts, conduct time and motion studies, and apply lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in assembly operations, with a strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
