Applications Support Specialist

The Business Applications team at Rooftop Housing Group is seeking a skilled Applications Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the ICT function, this role will support software applications and business improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will ensure that housing management and other software runs smoothly, providing technical support and guidance to colleagues. They will also lead business process improvements, collaborate with other teams to review workflows, and recommend efficiency enhancements.
Responsibilities will include handling technical tasks such as upgrading and reconfiguring software, developing digital forms, chatbots, SQL, and other solutions. Additionally, the Applications Support Specialist will provide business information and analysis through PowerBI, SSRS, and Excel reports.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong interest in IT and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable technical skills or experience in customer support, with a passion for problem-solving and a proactive approach to seeking solutions.
Experience using Aareon QL or working in social housing is desirable but not essential. We offer comprehensive training and support, and we encourage applicants with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
