Job Role & Responsibilities

As a key member of the Sustainable Resourcing team, the MEP Technical Services Lead will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of MEP projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Mobilisation Site Reviews and Validations: Conduct thorough site reviews and validations to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Design Reviews and Collaboration: Assist with design reviews, including Q&A sessions with the Senior PM Team, and collaborate with subcontractors to prepare drawings for balancing and flushing requirements.
  • On-Site Design and Installation Monitoring: Monitor on-site design and installation activities, and provide feedback to the Senior Team on labour requirements and site progress.
  • Project Programme Management: Review the project programme on a weekly basis, ensure a two-week look ahead is reviewed on every bi-weekly visit, and prepare the project progress snapshot.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and issue the project progress snapshot, including up-to-date drawing registers, as-built mark-ups, and accompanying photographic evidence.
  • Site Handovers and Client Training: Conduct site handovers and client training, ensuring a smooth transition of projects.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven Organisational Skills: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all aspects of the job.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of British Standards and both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from site level to senior management, and liaise with clients in a professional manner.
  • Health and Safety: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in the relevant field of operation.
  • Investigation and Reporting: Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Experience in a similar position, with a full UK driver's license.
