Product Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Manager to join our team at Spire Global, Inc. as a key member of our Product Assurance team.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Product Quality: Ensure that our products meet the necessary standards and are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Develop PA Processes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Product Assurance processes and practices.
- Ensure Compliance: Verify that all Product Assurance tasks are completed on institutional projects and ensure compliance with Company Quality Management System, applicable Standards, and Regulations.
- Interface with Customers: Establish and maintain relationships with customer quality representatives and ensure that all relevant Product Assurance matters are addressed.
- Define Reliability and Safety Requirements: Drive the definition of reliability, dependability, and safety analysis requirements drawn from customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Project Management: Interface with Project Management teams for all relevant Product Assurance matters.
- Establish Project PA Plans: Develop and implement Project PA Plans in accordance with Product Assurance requirements.
- Manage Non-Conformities: Ensure that non-conformities are managed according to applicable requirements and processes.
- Coordinate Project Quality Teams: Coordinate the activities of Project Quality teams and ensure that Product Assurance plans are correctly flowed down at all levels.
- Prepare Quality Documents: Prepare and verify/approve quality documents under your responsibility.
- Report Quality Aspects: Ensure proper reporting of quality aspects to customers, PMO, and management.
- Control Technology Validations: Control technology validations and hardware and component qualification according to the Development Plan.
- Participate in Project Meetings: Participate in internal and customer project meetings and reviews, providing quality contributions as necessary.
- Capture Lessons Learned: Ensure that lessons learned are formalized, capitalized, and promoted.
- Ensure Risk Management: Ensure that all Risk Management processes are well executed and provide proactive contributions.
- Implement Continuous Improvement: Ensure that continuous improvement processes are in place and implemented.
- Spire Program Manager and PMO team
- Customer PA Manager and Project team
- QA representatives of suppliers and partners, as applicable
- 5 years' experience in the Space Domain
- 7 years in Quality (preferably as Project/Product PA)
- Knowledge of ECSS
- Fluency in English
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
- Capability to effectively coordinate and delegate
- Proactivity, open-mindedness
