Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Technical team for the role of Quality Assurance Manager. This position is crucial in overseeing product quality and ensuring compliance with both legal standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that all products meet internal and customer specifications.
  • Ensure production processes adhere to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Verify that finished products comply with weight regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant food safety legislation, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
  • Review and approve quality documentation at the conclusion of production runs.
  • Analyze results from factory audits, including GMP, GHP, and foreign body assessments.
  • Enhance quality procedures throughout the production cycle, from raw material intake to dispatch.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Systems Manager on updates to quality documentation.
  • Engage in problem-solving initiatives, including investigations into customer complaints, alongside production and engineering teams.
  • Oversee the management of supplier and raw material non-conformance logs, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department regarding the quality of incoming materials.
  • Ensure that supplier monitoring data is accurately maintained by the Quality Assurance Team.
  • Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System as directed by the Quality Systems Manager.
