SRG is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality Control department.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of analysts and scientists in the QC department, providing key support to the manager.
  • Act as a coach and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all QC activities aligned to client projects.
  • Ensure and organize testing schedules across the department and data to produce key metrics.
  • Author and review SOPs, processes, protocols, and methods.
  • Ensure adherence to cGMP work practices.
  • Review QC reports, investigations, deviations, CAPA, and change controls.
  • Train team members.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement with the QC Manager and develop the team.
  • Troubleshoot and be hands-on to support the department.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment within the team.

Requirements

  • A degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline or significant equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a QC laboratory working to GMP within a recognized quality system.
  • Analytical chemistry experience, ideally extensive knowledge of HPLC methods and ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support.
  • Extensive experience managing a diverse team of people.
  • Ability to display prior experience managing a team and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP guidelines and regulatory bodies.
