Role Overview:

This challenging and rewarding role involves working within our Assessment Team, conducting Child and Family Assessments and S47 investigations to identify and address the needs of vulnerable children and families. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children and families.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to provide effective services.
  • Provide regular updates and written reports to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with children and families through empathetic and person-centred practice.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Post-qualification experience in a related field.
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel.
  • Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding laws, and relevant policies.
