Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Healthcare Support Professional to join our Neuro Rehabilitation team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and other support staff to provide high-quality care and support.

Salary: £22,500 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen in our West Hertfordshire neuro rehab in-patient rehab unit, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and support. Your primary duties will include:

  • Working towards agreed treatment objectives to improve patient independence and daily living skills.
  • Providing personal care and maintaining strength and function.
  • Teaching practical skills to clients and promoting their overall well-being.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A good general standard of education at GCSE level (Grade 9-4) including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualification(s).
  • NVQ in a relevant subject or equivalent skills gained through work experience.
  • Previous work experience in a hospital or community rehab setting, preferably working with older people.
