Respiratory Therapist Role
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Band 7 specialist, you will work closely with our critical care MDT to drive innovation in therapy provision. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex ventilated patients, long-term ventilator weaning, and early rehabilitation. In this role, you will lead on complex respiratory management, requiring skills in ventilation weaning, long-term ventilation, and early rehabilitation of critical care patients. The post has a strong emphasis on assessment and early rehabilitation within a specialist interdisciplinary team. Clinical supervision, appraisal, and teaching are key components of this role. The successful candidate will also have opportunities for service development projects, audit, and leadership training. A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered along with flexible working options and a range of benefits.
