We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in Hertfordshire schools.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young students aged 4-11, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development.

About the Role:

This is a full-time teaching assistant position available for September, providing vital support to learners on a 1:1 or small group basis.

You will work closely with the class teacher to prepare engaging resources and learning activities, while also serving as a positive role model in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support learners in developing essential life skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to design and deliver engaging lesson plans
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, students, and families
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievements
Requirements:
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey
  • Desirable but not essential: Experience in working with children or in a childcare setting
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to motivate and engage individuals/small groups in their learning
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this teaching assistant position is estimated to be between £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
