Join Our Team as an Application Engineer

At 3M, we're committed to innovation and excellence. We're seeking a talented Application Engineer to join our team in the UK. As an Application Engineer, you'll play a key role in showcasing our products and solutions to customers, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Showcase 3M products, processes, and digital solutions to increase profitability for bodyshop customers.
  • Manage relationships with customers and distributor partners.
  • Deliver hands-on product demonstrations for large groups.
  • Conduct field testing and new product evaluations.
  • Test and benchmark the competitive product and service landscape.
Requirements:
  • Technical diploma or apprenticeship with technical qualification.
  • Relevant experience in collision repair, damage estimation, or other relevant industries.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, etc.).
  • Fluent English language.
  • Driving license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in application engineering, technical service, technical training, and/or technical sales.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the vehicle insurance industry and associated workflows.
  • Understanding and expertise in bodyshop estimation processes and software.
  • Knowledge of how bodyshops make money and their key profitability drivers.
Location and Travel:

This position is based in the Midlands UK (Atherstone/Nuneaton, MIRA Technology Park) with hybrid working possible. Travel may include up to 75% domestic and occasional international travel.
