About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Modelling Assistant to join our team in London. As a key member of our Water Consulting business, you will play a crucial role in delivering asset management and operational strategy development to our water industry clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include participating in data collection, management, and analysis for various wastewater projects, contributing to preparing technical reports, presentations, and project documentation, and supporting the development of solutions to manage urban drainage, improve water quality, and control pollution.

To be successful in this role, you will possess prior experience with projects in urban drainage settings, along with proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and relevant GIS software. You will also have relevant experience in the water industry, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and knowledge of modelling software and GIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in data collection, management, and analysis for various wastewater projects.
  • Contribute to preparing technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Support the development of solutions to manage urban drainage, improve water quality, and control pollution.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the water industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of modelling software (InfoWorks ICM) and GIS systems (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Experience with bespoke software and programming such as FME, Visual Basic, and Power BI is beneficial.
