About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Modeller/Hydrology Consultant to join our team at ALDWYCH CONSULTING LTD. As a key member of our consulting team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in the water/environment sector.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in flood modelling, with experience in packages such as Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TUFLOW. They will also have a good understanding of hydrological assessments using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH statistical methods.

As a Hydrology Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking hydrological analysis for model inputs, developing hydraulic models from survey data, and reviewing third-party models for suitability. You will also be expected to communicate complex modelling outputs to clients in an easily accessible and understandable format.

Requirements

  • Minimum degree(s) in Geography, Environmental Management, or Engineering
  • Good technical background in flood modelling
  • Experience in packages such as Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TUFLOW
  • Good understanding of hydrological assessments using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH statistical methods
