Job Title: Mental Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Care Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of individuals living with dementia.

About the Role:

This role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess care needs and develop programmes of care for individuals living in their own homes. You will work closely with other professionals to ensure that our service users receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments of care needs and develop tailored programmes of care for individuals living with dementia.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure that our service users receive holistic care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Contribute to clinical team meetings and provide advice on care planning and delivery.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent registration body.
  • Proven experience of working with individuals living with dementia and their families.
  • Excellent assessment and communication skills.
Salary:

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
