Astro Studios, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Enterprise Data Strategy Lead to drive data-driven decision making across our organisation.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Visionary: Create and maintain a unified data strategy that aligns with business objectives, drives growth, and ensures data governance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, data analysts, engineers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support the organisation's data infrastructure.
  • Data Quality and Security: Develop and implement data quality controls, encryption, and anonymisation techniques to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation of data architecture, flows, and processes for ongoing improvement and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in data architecture, database design, or data engineering roles.
  • Proven experience with database management systems and data warehousing technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
