Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to join our dedicated team in Blackpool. The successful candidate will provide Human Resources support across all levels of the organisation, focusing on employee relations, policy review, business partnering, reward, culture, diversity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Oversee and manage all employee relations issues in the business, escalating to the Head of Global HR where required.
  • Policy Development: Support the Head of Global HR in developing and maintaining policies and procedures for employee relations, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
  • HR Generalist: Provide HR support across all levels of the organisation, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior management stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training to Line Managers on HR-related processes and policies.
  • Compliance: Oversee the administration of HR-related documentation, including contracts of employment and letters to employees.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regulatory and legislative compliance checks are completed for new employees, including oversight of SMS systems regarding visas.
Requirements
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or Chartered MCIPD (desirable)
  • Minimum of 5 years' HR experience (essential)
  • Proven background as an HR professional working with senior management stakeholders, with demonstrable experience building trusted relationships at this level, ideally within a multi-site and global business.
  • A HR generalist with hands-on experience covering topics such as employee relations, policy review, business partnering, reward, culture, diversity, and inclusion.
  • A self-starter, able to plan and prioritise your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organised, commercially savvy with a data-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the application of UK employment law.
  • Experience working across different international jurisdictions is desirable.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Some experience delivering initiatives and programmes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Demonstrate maturity and excellent inter-personal skills.
