Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Retail Security Officer to join our team. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, with shift timings including nights and weekends.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors in a well-known retail store. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a secure environment and respond to any incidents or emergencies that may arise.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong communication skills. As a Retail Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers and staff, so it's essential to have a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of vigilance and awareness at all times to prevent theft and ensure customer safety
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and respond promptly to any security breaches
  • Provide support to colleagues and management during busy periods
  • Deal effectively with difficult customers and situations
  • Conduct regular patrols of the store to identify potential security risks
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve customer experience
