We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Worthing. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including ADHD, Autism, Speech and Language Therapy, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, and general Special Educational Needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide support to children with various special educational needs, including ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and SLT.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans that meet individual student needs.
  • Help create a positive and supportive environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work one-on-one with children who need additional support, as well as in small group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for the students.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for supporting children with special educational needs, particularly ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and SLT.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping every child succeed.
