Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies to support pupils with Autism.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and staff to ensure the best outcomes for the pupil.
  • Providing regular feedback and monitoring progress to adapt support strategies.
  • Assisting with classroom activities and promoting positive interactions between pupils.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs is required.
  • A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special educational needs are advantageous.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Salary:£28,000 - £38,000 per annum.
