We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Secondary Alternative Provision in Burnley. This is a full-time opportunity (8:30am - 3:30pm) with a competitive pay rate of £12.90p/h.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to students with diverse needs in a secondary education setting
  • Utilize effective behavior management skills to maintain a safe and productive learning environment
  • Remain calm under pressure and employ strategies to de-escalate challenging situations
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support the educational and personal development of pupils
Requirements:
  • Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a secondary or alternative provision setting is advantageous
  • Must be patient, resilient, and possess excellent communication skills
