About the Role

Vision Norfolk is seeking an accomplished Fundraising Executive to spearhead our fundraising efforts. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a lasting impact on the lives of people living with sight loss in Norfolk.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to drive organisational growth and achieve ambitious goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our fundraising strategy, ensuring a diverse and sustainable income base from multiple streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with our organisational goals, ensuring a strong foundation for long-term sustainability.
  • Donor Relations: Foster meaningful relationships with current and prospective donors, maintaining open communication channels to ensure ongoing support.
  • Campaign Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of high-impact fundraising campaigns, focusing on effective project management and timely delivery.
  • Event Management: Lead the organisation of fundraising events (both virtual and in-person), designing engaging experiences that foster community involvement and raise vital funds.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage the fundraising budget, optimising resource allocation to maximise income generation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fundraising activities adhere to relevant legislation and best practices, providing regular reports to senior management and trustees on fundraising performance and opportunities.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior fundraising role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies across multiple income streams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in motivating and guiding teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors, corporate partners, and community supporters.
  • Proven experience in managing events, from concept to execution, and a track record of meeting income targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and the use of data to inform fundraising strategies.
  • Financial acumen, including experience in budget management and financial planning within a fundraising context.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum (negotiable dependent on experience)
  • 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work to support events.
  • Pension: stakeholder pension scheme with Royal London, contributions 4% employee and 4% Employer.
