About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Prosecution Team as a Traffic Prosecutions Team Clerk. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the prosecution of traffic-related offenses and contributing to the improvement of road safety in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Prosecution Team, including maintaining accurate records and preparing documents for court proceedings.
  • Research and provide information/statistics to stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and court officials.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and procedures related to traffic prosecutions.
  • Liaise with various agencies, including HMCTS and CPS, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Initiate prosecution procedures and ensure that all necessary steps are taken to bring offenders to justice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be proficient in IT systems and have a positive mindset towards learning and development.
