Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Traffic Prosecutions Team Clerk to join our team at the Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the prosecution of traffic-related offenses and promoting road safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the prosecution team, including maintaining accurate records and preparing documents for court proceedings.
  • Research and provide information/statistics to stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and government officials.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations related to traffic prosecution.
  • Liaise with various agencies, including HMCTS and CPS, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Initiate prosecution procedures and ensure that all necessary steps are taken to bring offenders to justice.
Requirements
  • Education to QCF Level 2 (3-5 passes) or proven significant work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
  • Experience of working in a busy administrative environment and undertaking complex administrative tasks to a high standard.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
