Pharmacy Technician Leadership Opportunity

Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a leadership role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with innovative technology and systems, whilst continuing to build further skills to enable future career progression.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to support the delivery of our Medicines Optimisation strategy with the area. As a senior member of the Clinical Pharmacy Technician Team, you will participate in the day-to-day management of clinical staff, responding to the needs of the organisation, facilitating and supporting patient flow throughout the hospital.
The ideal candidate will have recent and significant post-qualification experience including hospital ward and dispensary pharmacy, current post Band 5 or equivalent, and contributor to at least one service development. They will also have demonstrated supervisory skills, experience of medication history taking and medicines reconciliation, training and educational supervision, and knowledge and awareness of NICE, NLRS, MHRA/CSM and involved in implementation of relevant guidance.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
