About the Job:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled HR Services Manager to join our client's team. As an experienced professional in Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising all people services and day-to-day tasks and processes across the employee lifecycle.

The role involves working closely with leaders and managers to implement change management programmes, restructuring and redundancies. You will also act as an active panel member in hearings, providing specialist advice up to and including decisions to dismiss. Additionally, you will coach senior managers to build their capability for managing employees and embedding people skills and knowledge.

A key aspect of this role is leading the exit interview process, ensuring consistency and reporting results as required. You will also support the monthly payroll checking process and implementation of new pay and reward schemes. Furthermore, you will provide cover for the Head of People Services as needed, working independently to ensure all activity is consistent and in line with current policy and employment legislation.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree level qualification in HR or Business-related field, or CIPD level 5 (or at least studying towards it). They should have demonstrable breadth of generalist HR experience in ER, employee engagement, change management and project management. Ideally, they will have experience of working within the public sector, NHS, charity or education sectors.

Key responsibilities include managing a small team, coaching and supporting managers across the full HR discipline, and working knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, legislation and employment law. The successful candidate can expect a salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
