Job Title: Adult Diabetes Specialist Dietitian

Central All Age Eating Disorder Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HCPC registered Band 7 Dietitian to join their team. The successful candidate will provide a high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic service to community services, focusing on providing dietetic support to young people and adults with eating disorders.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be proactive in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care management plans, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, with a focus on eating disorders and their physiological, psychological, and medical aspects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services to community services
  • Develop and maintain care management plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care management plans
  • Work closely with the team to provide comprehensive care to young people and adults with eating disorders
Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • A honours degree or equivalent in Nutrition and Dietetics approved by the BDA/Health Professions Council
  • Health Professions Council registered Dietitian
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate specialist clinical education at postgraduate level or equivalent and/or equivalent experience
