Role Overview

A Clinical Lead Therapist is sought to provide specialist therapy services and leadership support in a multidisciplinary school team.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly specialist therapist to deliver clinical support in schools and lead the development of therapy programs. The successful candidate will work with parents, carers, education staff, and multidisciplinary teams to provide advanced clinical reasoning and expert assessment services.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this role is £48,500 - £52,800 per annum, plus London Weighting. The position also offers a range of benefits, including pension, generous annual leave allowance, ongoing CPD and clinical supervision, and company events and socials.

About the Role

This is a split role providing two days clinical support in schools and three days leadership support. As a Clinical Lead Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering specialized clinical therapy services, managing and adapting your caseload, and providing consultation and training services related to your specialism.

In your leadership capacity, you will provide specialized supervision for therapists across schools, conducting onsite visits, reviewing session plans and reports, and connecting therapists to specialists, resources, and training sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years experience working in the specialist field of Autism
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary working
  • HCPC registered
  • Training and experience in evidence-based approaches to intervention in Autism
  • A track record of providing a highly specialist evidence-based service for Autistic children and young people
  • Experience in clinical supervision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Experience in audit/data gathering for research
