Job Title: Programme Procurement Manager

At Babcock, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Programme Procurement Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the submarines business within our company.

The Role

As a Programme Procurement Manager, you'll provide leadership to a team of procurement professionals and enable us to plan, execute, and deliver all the supply chain outputs required to support our programme now and into the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a fit-for-the-future resource plan, ensuring that all future resource requirements are identified and funded.
  • Provide leadership to internal and external stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact.
  • Act as the bid lead within the programme.
  • Help design an enterprise supply solution to meet programme requirements and maximise performance while minimising risk and complexity.
  • Effectively incorporate centre category strategies into the supply chain plan and design for the programme.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven leadership to a team of procurement specialists and create an environment to enable them to execute their plans successfully.
  • Working on supplier performance and contract management disciplines within the team.
  • Proven experience with specific programme requirements and builds into supply chain plan and future strategies for programme delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literate.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • MCIPS or equivalent professional qualifications.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
