Job Title: Procurement Manager for Programme Delivery

Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in Plymouth, Devon. As a Programme Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our submarine programme.

The Role

As a Programme Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals and providing strategic leadership to ensure the successful delivery of our programme. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver all supply chain outputs required to support our programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating a fit-for-the-future resource plan to ensure all future resource requirements are identified and funded
  • Providing leadership to internal and external stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact
  • Acting as the bid lead within the programme
  • Designing an enterprise supply solution to meet programme requirements and maximise performance while minimising risk and complexity
  • Effective incorporation of centre category strategies into the supply chain plan and design for the programme

Essential Experience:

  • Proven leadership to a team of procurement specialists and creating an environment to enable them to execute their plans successfully
  • Working on supplier performance and contract management disciplines within the team
  • Proven experience with specific programme requirements and building into supply chain plans and future strategies for programme delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent
  • MCIPS or equivalent professional qualifications

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
