About the Role

As a Programme Procurement Manager at Babcock International Group, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our submarine programme. You will lead a team of procurement professionals in planning, executing, and delivering supply chain outputs to meet programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a fit-for-the-future resource plan to ensure all future resource requirements are identified and funded.
  • Provide leadership to internal and external stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact.
  • Act as the bid lead within the programme.
  • Design an enterprise supply solution to meet programme requirements and maximize performance while minimizing risk and complexity.
  • Incorporate centre category strategies into the supply chain plan and design for the programme.

Essential Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in a procurement team, creating an environment to enable team members to execute their plans successfully.
  • Experience in supplier performance and contract management disciplines.
  • Proven experience with specific programme requirements and building into supply chain plans and future strategies for programme delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • MCIPS or equivalent professional qualifications.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
