Babcock International Group is seeking a Programme Procurement Manager to join our team at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site. As a Programme Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our submarine programme.

The Role

As a Programme Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals and providing strategic leadership to the procurement and supply chain function. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver all supply chain outputs required to support our programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a fit-for-the-future resource plan to ensure all future resource requirements are identified and funded.
  • Provide leadership to internal and external stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact.
  • Act as the bid lead within the programme.
  • Design an enterprise supply solution to meet programme requirements and maximise performance while minimising risk and complexity.
  • Incorporate centre category strategies into the supply chain plan and design for the programme.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in a procurement or supply chain role, with a track record of creating an environment to enable teams to execute their plans successfully.
  • Experience in supplier performance and contract management disciplines.
  • Proven experience in programme requirements and building supply chain plans and future strategies for programme delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • MCIPS or equivalent professional qualifications.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
