Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Weld Engineer to lead our welding team and drive the design, development, and implementation of integrated systems for new product introductions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding engineering, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    • Design and improve integrated systems for new product introductions
    • Develop and establish weld parameters for new or existing equipment
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of welding systems
  • Manufacturing Expertise
    • Supervise weld technicians and provide guidance on welding processes and procedures
    • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality products
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Lead and motivate the welding team to achieve high-quality results
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Weld Engineering or related field
  • Extensive experience in welding engineering and manufacturing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of SPC and CMM data
  • Experience with quality and tooling-related issues
  • Tradesman certification based on experience
  • Excellent computer skills
