Job Summary

Civic Minds is seeking a skilled Weld Engineer to join our team. As a Weld Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, improving, and installing integrated systems for new product introductions in our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise weld technicians and ensure the quality of welds.
• Develop and implement weld parameters for new and existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot welding problems and provide solutions.
• Work with other departments to solve problems and improve manufacturing processes.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Weld Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in the automotive support industry.
• Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of SPC, CMM data, and resistance welding.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
