Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a modern mainstream school in Greenford. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with Autism in Year 2, providing support and guidance to ensure their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to share knowledge and best practices, enhancing the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with Autism or other special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, understanding, and a willingness to adapt to the needs of students with Autism.
  • Right to work in the UK and experience working in the UK education sector.
