Support Assistant for Students with Autism

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism in a mainstream school in Northwest London.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, long-term position that requires a patient and understanding individual to work with a child with Autism in Year 2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with Autism in a mainstream school setting
- Work closely with the SENCO and psychologists to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure students receive a high-quality education
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students as needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with Autism or other special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
