We are seeking a highly skilled Reward and Benefits Manager to join our team at the House of Lords. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our pay and benefits strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement costed pay models to support key pay awards and organisational change.
  • Lead pay negotiations with Trade Unions, ensuring fair and balanced outcomes.
  • Benchmark our pay and benefits against external comparators to ensure competitiveness.
  • Provide expert advice on pay decisions, sector allowances, and other pay-related issues.
  • Review and make innovative proposals to enhance our benefits package, ensuring it aligns with business needs and engages employees.
  • Prepare papers and recommendations for senior leaders, using data-driven insights to inform decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience developing costed pay proposals and providing recommendations to senior stakeholders based on your findings.
  • A love for spreadsheets and data, with a proven ability to use them to create insightful, costed pay models.
  • Innovative thinking and enthusiasm for designing creative pay and benefits solutions that align with organisational goals.
  • Ability to work well with colleagues across HR, finance, and senior leadership, and to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Organisational skills, including experience managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing needs.
Qualifications
  • CIPD accreditation or equivalent experience is essential.
  • MCIPD or further qualifications in reward would be an advantage, but passion for data and pay modelling is key.
