Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Reward and Benefits Manager to join our team at the House of Lords. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative pay and benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in developing costed pay models, leading pay negotiations, and reviewing benefits packages. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our pay and benefits strategy supports both our employees and organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and cost pay models to support key pay awards and organisational change
  • Lead pay negotiations with Trade Unions to ensure fair and balanced outcomes
  • Benchmark our pay and benefits against external comparators to ensure competitiveness
  • Provide expert advice on pay decisions, sector allowances, and other pay-related issues
  • Review and make innovative proposals to enhance our benefits package
  • Prepare papers and recommendations for senior leaders using data-driven insights
Requirements
  • Experience in pay and reward, with a focus on costed pay models and benefits design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • CIPD accreditation or equivalent experience is essential
  • MCIPD or further qualifications in reward would be an advantage
